I have maintained Feminem.com through several changes since I obtained this domain name in 2001. One could argue that outside influences and events change the course of this website, but the honest truth is that it has always been determined by the motivations and passions of your webmaster, Essix... me. My intentions have always been fueled by what I consider to be "right, fair, just, moral or ethical," beginning with the blind hatred through adolescence to the clear perception of open-mindedness. Feminem.com has evolved into a community of people with similar values and objective points of view, a genre of people applying reason and mindfulness before conformity to mainstream acceptance.
This website has grown so far apart from the blind hatred of Eminem that his existence is often consumed by apathy among Feminem.com community members. 2005 marks the year when Eminem is no longer used as "The Prime Example" of an anti-thesis of this website's values. It's not that this website now is in support of such behavior, it's simply this: Through Eminem, Feminem.com has proved every point and value it has strived to prove, time and time again. Eminem is old news, an archive of exploitation proven through the triumph of this website.
As it stands, the logical question becomes, "now what?" Obviously, updates have been scarce but the Feminem.com Forum Community continues to thrive, now with over 200,000 messages posted in 2 years. It's exactly what I had mentioned, the points have been proven, the people who understand still remain, and since these are underlying personal values, they remain consistent with the foundation of this website and continually feel welcome at the community I've created. I'm honored that such people have populated this website to help make it what it is today.
Archives of the past history of this website are prominently displayed here, mainly to show the evolution of Feminem.com through time, but the Forum Community is the real heart of this website today. Last upgraded in April of 2005, it has already reached a point of quasi-obsoleteness (Anti-Eminem sections, etc.) that will hopefully be rectified in the coming year of 2006. But as always, these changes rely upon your webmaster.
I've carried the torch of Feminem.com for a long time. Thankfully, the website has continued to thrive despite lackluster updates from myself, thanks to the Forum Community. I still fully intend to bring Feminem.com into a new non-Eminem era, based upon the principals and foundations this website sees today. But the honest truth, it relies upon my motivation. I would love to complete a project as grand as this, but I look at the scale of it and the amount of time it would take, and I become apprehensive.
In the course of this year, I've had my share of ups and downs (as we all have), and I've come to various conclusions concerning major aspects of life. My ambitions never originally revolved around creating a website, they revolved around completing a music album that I could be proud of, that I could present without regret or shame. "Reactions," my first LP release under "DJ Jake," was only a collection of scraps that I've come to regret over time (hence "Reactions"). Feminem.com came after my ambitions for music, and it has seemingly been in the way along the line.
The point of this message is to convey these major points: 1) Feminem.com has triumphed through the years and it continues to do so, now without any reference to Eminem. 2) The Feminem.com Forum Community is the heart of Feminem.com, and is where this website will continue to grow in the years to come. 3) Your webmaster will now set his primary ambitions upon music production, and website management a distant second (depending upon speed of progress of music composition).
Again, I thank you all for making Feminem.com what it is today. New members are always welcome here, as Feminem.com will always be here for you.

Highly unanticipated but welcomed, the webmaster of this website has undergone a spiritual enlightenment that changed his priorities in life, and has decided that Feminem.com is no longer necessary, as is. Although there are various specific reasons for this, the close of the website is spawned more by a feeling that it is the right thing to do at this point. An eternal thanks goes out to all the supporters that truly understood the underlying message of the website. It is the webmaster's hope that your lives have been positively influenced by this website in the time that it was online.
The Feminem.com Forum Community is still available only via the link provided, although it is likely various sections will be closed in the near future, or possibly the entire forum in general, as the webmaster of Feminem.com is indecisive at the present time concerning this issue. Thanks again for visiting and for your support.

The highly anticipated section of Website History, where you can find information about prior versions of this website (as well as viewing the entire obsolete version of the website) is now online! For those of you that can't wait and immediately wish to view the old versions of Feminem.com, the links have been provided for you below:
The Premiere Version
The Slim Anus Version
The Feminem Version
However, it is highly recommended that you go directly to the Website History section and check out the entire flavor of content provided to you in that section. You'll discover more information about Feminem.com than you never knew before. The section includes detailed information about all 4 versions of Feminem.com, including the dates of operation, and best of all: THE WEBSITE ITSELF!
That's correct, the prior versions of this website have been rescripted to ensure they are working properly, and are now available for viewing for the first time since December 2001, September 2002, and December 2003! Whereas many people would rather shun their past and forget about it, the webmaster of Feminem.com, Essix, believes the past should not be forgotten, and that it should be remembered so one can learn from it, and move on. This is why these obsolete archives have been listed. It is to proclaim the path of Feminem.com, showing all how it started, grew, and matured since its earliest days.
With this section officially online, it marks a new height of Feminem.com as this website has never been larger than it currently is. And from here, it only gets better. For now, check out the new section, read up on the history of Feminem.com, and enjoy the ancient flavor of old.

Posting my email address a few days ago lead to a handful of emails being submitted to me, but only one was decent Hate Mail material. I suppose I made it too blatant for the Eminem fans (and other lesser-minded folk) and they decided not to email me. Anyway, checking out the "Hate Mail" section will provide you with a brand new (and relatively long) hate mail from a pathetic Christian supremacist. Assuming life continues as is recently, the "Hate Mail" section will continue to receive new updates for the rest of the year, with an email address provided sporadically.
Otherwise, the "Spam List" was updated accordingly. I take a look at the statistics of search phrases used to access Feminem.com material, and people actually search for "@hotmail" or "@yahoo" accounts. So, it's obvious bots and other people are finding these idiot's information and spamming it. Anyway, I'm a bit ahead when it comes to working on the "Website History" section, so POSSIBLY I'll have that done before this coming weekend. No guarantees though, which is the same that can be said about Eminem not stealing another instrumental for an upcoming song.

Older versions of this website once had a "Submit Your Diss" section to ensure new Eminem disses could be posted to continue the expansion of Feminem.com. As this is not the case anymore, the section is rather useless, but a forum section originally titled "Eminem Disses" was created prior to the Prime Example version of this website, and still exists today as "Eminem Parodies." The newly added "Submit Your Diss" section in the lower right menu explains this in more detail.
Yes, that section has replaced the "Other Material" link once listed there. There will also be a brand new section on the left side menu called "Website History." I won't spoil any surprises, but this section will contain information about the older versions of Feminem.com, and how it came to be the current version you see today. This project will take a bit of time, but I'm hoping it can be completed before the month is out. Oh yeah and... happy Friday the 13th.

The "Archived News" messages since the beginning of Feminem.com in 2001 have been rescripted into the current format of this website. All original news postings listed in the September '02 version are back online for the first time in almost 1½ years. Regardless, bits and pieces of this website will continue to come online in the coming months.
For now, it's time for some entertainment. Keeping on track with the entertaining ways of Bread Crust, I'd like for all the closed-minded and intellectually-challenged followers of mainstream gimmicks to email me your insecurities at the email address specified here: [removed]. Essentially, I'm looking to rip apart your comments and toss them in the Hate Mail section, for entertainment value. Thanks in advance. Submission of email constitutes agreement with this website's disclaimers.
So what's next? The "Other Material" section is next on my list. Right now, it simply links to the "Eminem Parodies" section on the forum. Once I have completed it, it will become an explanation and host of several old sections, including "Submit Your Diss," which is of course obsolete, and also a few surprises I'm sure long-term visitors will be thrilled to see. Until it's done, hang tight, like Eminem on his bodyguards.

Continuing the process of updating old Feminem.com material into the new "Prime Example" format, the year of 2002's "Archived News" has been completed. This now leaves only 2003, which will take another several hours to re-script. Unfortunately, there's no magic wand when it comes to reformatting ugly-scripted HTML into a more fancy CSS style. Anyway, finishing off the archives of news is still the running priority around here.
I've also finally completed some work on the Forum's Rules & Regulations. I started in 2004 and it was postponed for the longest time. Now that most of the forum revisions are complete for now, the new regulations must be presented. Venturing there now will reveal a semi-complete listing of rules. I've also taken the rules & regulations out of the Content Disclaimers section. Obviously, I only need them listed where the forum is. *Brain farts*
Lastly, for a heads up... I'll be posting an email address in an upcoming news announcement for a short amount of time. Fan mail is appreciated, but Hate Mail is encouraged. Basically, I'd like to get started on having a regular schedule of updating that section again. The War Zone and Sporked!™ from the forum is just as good, but I don't want Feminem.com to revolve exclusively around its forum. Anyway, if you're pathetic, insecure, and envious of me, be sure to voice your idiocy when I post the address later this month.

With the massive update of Feminem.com and the Forum community, Thunderground enters an interesting time of reconsideration. 62% of Thunderground's current merchandise revolves around Feminem.com-related ideas, primarily about Eminem. Now that Feminem.com has officially begun its "Prime Example" version, Eminem is only used as a prime example for the website to get its message across. Other aspects of in-general mainstream living are also targeted on Feminem.com, as are a few examples within the underground genre. Essix's definition of Underground is as follows:
"A genre in music and other forms of media intended for an elite audience, that is often characterized by its high levels of originality and experimentation, and does not conform to typical standards, trends, or hypes as set by the popular mainstream media."
Thunderground (derived from "The Underground") believes in this statement fully, and will continue to stay true to its own values and beliefs. Regardless, the underground definition is a generalization that doesn't always hold true (same with "mainstream"). Essentially, this has pushed Thunderground to reconsider which new routes to take concerning new merchandise for the future. As it no longer revolves around Eminem or mainstream directly, more generalized merchandise must be produced to represent the current times. The merchandise you currently see listed on this website will remain until stocks of the item are depleted. Essix's first priority is the continual updates to Feminem.com. Meanwhile, new ideas will be planned out for Thunderground. It's not the first priority, but it is a priority.

Feminem.com began official operation under DJ Jake on August 28th, 2001. The website was owned by DJ Jake prior to this date, but the first day for Feminem.com to actually see an operational status under DJ Jake was the 28th. What spawned this tidbit of information? "Archived News" now contains all of the news postings from 2001, during the first version of this website (which was concluded the same year in December). Of the years 2001-3, 2001 was the easiest to re-script into the current style and language, so it was first to be completed. 2002 and 2003 will be worked on accordingly in the days to come. Visiting the 2001 archives will probably surprise you, as you'll see how the attitude of the webmaster has changed from those days to today. Regardless, that's how it began. More will be posted soon, so stay tuned.

As posted yesterday, this website has already received a compatibility update, and it started with the news listed below. All news postings below should appear correctly on any browser. In addition, the "Recent News" you see here on the main page was becoming exceedingly long, as it extended all the way back to the first day of 2004, making the homepage bogged down with too much for the average viewer to download. Therefore, the "Archived News" section has finally been opened. Currently, the years of 2001, 2002, and 2003 have not yet been re-scripted into the new style since the old version terminated in 2003, but it is likely this will happen soon, since it's easy and mind-numbingly dull. In any event, Visiting the homepage of Feminem.com will always show you the most recent news postings within the past year. Older news will now find its way into the archive.

Concerns about this website's compatibility with Macintosh computers or browsers such as Mozilla/FireFox, Netscape, and a handful of others has spawned a slight change in the scripts for various sections of this website. All browsers should see this news posting correctly, but the postings below (if you're using a browser outside of Internet Explorer), should appear problematic. As the updates continue around Feminem.com, the new scripts will be added to replace the semi-functioning screens. There is no real priority to this, the content updates come first. That being said, all new content will obviously fit the new compatibility standards. Internet Explorer was once 97% to 98% of the hits on this website, it has since boiled down to 87% with 8% making up FireFox, one of the browsers that is having difficulty viewing certain pages of this website. Typically, it's just the news postings below until October of 2004, so it's nothing major. Your webmaster has both browsers, so just hang tight, and all will be fixed.

Although it wasn't widely known, a free Thunderground merchandise contest was held on Feminem.com earlier this month. The contest was contained within a topic on Feminem.com's forum, Here. The contest essentially revolved around the owner of Thunderground, Essix's, taste in music and his opinion of a series of albums. Any participant didn't necessarily have to know the music in question to wager a guess. The participants waited a number of days until the Feminem.com forum was updated with a new style before the winners were announced. They turned out to be Animatron and Holland Villager. Congratulations! Originally, Thunderground was only planning on giving out free merchandise to one winner, but it was decided that two separate winners were awarded free merchandise. The next time there is an offer for free merchandise, it will be blatantly posted on this website. At the least, check back often enough to catch the latest details concerning Thunderground merchandise!

Yesterday marked the day a massive upgrade was issued to Feminem.com's Forum. The update came courtesy of at least 2 months of hard work by your very own webmaster, Essix. This upgrade came in response to what is hoped to be the most well-defined stance of this website from which all new content will be founded upon. Regardless of the reasoning (just scroll down in a different posting), the forum has received major sectional and visual upgrades.
(We'll get to this in a second.)
Among these upgrades are the built-in pop-up informational windows. Unless you have installed software on your computer that prevents user-initiated pop-up windows, you are now able to click a bold grey word on the index page of the forum and view a definition of that word. Similar results will happen when clicking the "Purpose," "Misconceptions," "The Prime Example," "Rules & Regulations," and "Disclaimers" in the top menu of the forum. Core elements of Feminem.com have been integrated with the forum to better define this website through the forum itself. Of these sections, "Rules & Regulations" has not yet been completed, but it is my hope that you'll know what you can and can't do by the end of the month.
The actual forum sections themselves have received major upgrades, primarily in the descriptions and titles. Where there was once 5 forums with 24 sections, there are now 6 forums with 29 sections. And for you Crusties that think it's all about Eminem... only 3½ of those sections have to do with him. A quick trip to the Misconceptions section (don't forget your dictionary) should clear things up. For everyone else, the forum was expanded in the areas of general discussion and the community as a whole, as the entire forum is not just a discussion board any longer, but a community. All sections have been re-sorted by myself, Echolette, and Murderous Joe, who have both been an asset in organizing the forum. Sticky and Announcement topics have also been upgraded to coincide with the updates.
Something more noticeable that has been changed are the ranks. Ranks are determined by the number of messages a user has posted, or his or her administrational status/lack of status with the forum. This icon appears on every post the user has made. An example of one of these ranks can be found here:
No one has had any complaints about the new ranking system, although it has completely diverted from anything relating from Eminem, and the Femi-Fans in general. With luck, this system will not have to be updated again for a long time, as it took quite a while to complete.
The layout and appearance has changed on the forum as well, primarily on the index page, the topic view page, and the post view page. With my higher level of knowledge concerning more advanced scripting languages, I intergraded my graphic skills into the forum to essentially begin the 3rd version of Feminem.com forum appearances. And as with any upgrades, there will be bugs. Browsers outside of Internet Explorer have experienced difficulties, but most of those have been cleared up, except a few with the pop-up windows. The rest of the bugs will be worked on as time goes on, but for most viewing purpose, you'll take in the full flavor of the new appearance.
Other functionality updates have also happened at the forum. But on that note, it's time for you to check out the Forum yourself. Current Feminem.com projects now focus on fixing the forum bugs, writing the rules & regulations, and eventually starting the "Dictionary" section on the core website, as it has already started thanks to the forum. Keep coming back. More flavor is happening all 2005.

Updates have already begun. If you'll direct your attention to the various sections of Purpose, Misconceptions, "Who's Feminem?", and Content Disclaimers, you'll see some massive updates/rewrites that have already been uploaded before the Forum receives its update (tomorrow). The updates here on the primary website will be fully reflected in the forum within the next 24 hours. These changes here reflect this website's evolution into "The Prime Example" version, now using Eminem as an example of mainstream exploitation instead of the ONLY example (which honestly confused several people concerning the purpose of the website).
Regardless, the purpose of Feminem.com has been rewritten, along with the description of Eminem (Who's Feminem?). Taking a look at those sections will reveal the path of this website throughout 2005. The 5 misconceptions have been updated, but 2 brand new ones have been added: "You spend so much time hating one man," and "you hate everything that is mainstream." Replies to these common misconceptions have been added to help alleviate the common prejudice as commonly seen within the masses of mainstream-influenced followers. The disclaimers have also been updated, but that's nothing special.
So, now we're 24 hours away from the rest of the evolution of Feminem.com: the forum community! I'm excited, and if you're a long time viewer of Feminem.com, you should be too. The updates here today are just a taste of the flavor headed your way. Be sure to visit the forum while you can before the upgrades happen, as it will be taken offline most of tomorrow while I'm installing the upgrades. Stay tuned for more.

I know it has been a long time since the last post, but I can now say everything officially: It's time to get the ball rolling on Feminem.com! Your webmaster Essix (was DJ Jake) has relocated to Phoenix, Arizona and has started his new job, and is all moved into his new place. So, now that all that crap is finally out of the way, it's time to get back into the groove. More or less, this means I intend for 2005 to be the year when Feminem.com returns to full functionality. See those dark grey links at the side that don't click? Fuck 'em. Ha ha ha...
The revised stance of this website (The Prime Example version) will begin with Feminem.com's Forum. Since this has essentially been the most stable part of this website since the start of 2004, it's only logical that all updates start from that foundation. Therefore, I have worked my ass off on some awesome updates coming your way on April 17th, 2005 (2 days from now!). Updates include revised purpose, misconceptions, explanations, definitions... forum sections, appearance changes, upgrades, etc, etc. If you've waited for a long time for Feminem.com to return to its past glory, your wait is nearing an end. I swear to that. Check back soon. Updates happen fast now.

The owner of Thunderground, Essix (operator of other websites such as Feminem.com and Essix.net), has recently moved into Phoenix, Arizona once again, and has decided to leave Thunderground based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Upon advisement from someone in Albuquerque concerning the registration of the business, Essix decided it would be wisest to leave the registration in the original state to avoid complications of re-registration and the overall inconvenience of updates. Will this actually affect anything? No. Still, only residents of the state of New Mexico will be taxed the current tax rate of 6.75%. Phoenix/Arizona residents will remain tax-exempt despite the owner of Thunderground now living in Phoenix. The bottom line, Thunderground is a company based in Albuquerque that does its business worldwide, but primarily in Phoenix, Arizona. Apologies go out to the residents of New Mexico that were looking forward to a tax-exempt purchasing season of Thunderground merchandise.

Since December 2004, there has been little time to update this website due to the webmaster's current preparations to relocate back to Phoenix and begin employment with a new employer. Recent signs from various interviews indicate that an end to the current search is possible in the near future. Upon landing and settling into the new place of employment, time should permit itself to get the ball rolling on various websites.
Currently, with what little time there is, the Feminem.com Forums are currently in the process of being overhauled to coincide with the coming "Prime Example" version of this website. A taste of this update (a slight graphic modification) can be seen on the index page of the forum. While it's not a major change in graphics, the content and organization of forums will change dramatically. With approximately 145,000 messages posted, the forum has reached another height where expansion and reorganization are mandatory. Depending on the relocation of the webmaster, this change will take anywhere from a week to a month from this posting. Realistically, the sooner the better, but the new employment opportunity for the webmaster outweighs all else.

Although it was anticipated that I would have the time necessary upon completion of the "Reactions" album to continue re-scripting this website, external forces continue to work their magic, and I have still not found the time to upgrade this website from the 2003 version. Recently, all efforts have been directed towards my current job search, with plane trips to and from Phoenix for various interviews. Some are beginning to look very promising, the final results of which I will know by Thursday the 17th.
When time does permit, I have been engaging in website updates, but primarily for Feminem.com's Forum, which I am currently overhauling to coincide with the new focus of that website, which no longer revolves around one exclusive person and fan base. In any case, I'm posting this message to let everyone know I'm not dead yet, and I fully intend to re-finish this website when an adequate amount of time presents itself.

This website's "Spam List" (originally the "Shit List"), has officially been revised with the new (and less offensive) name. This change comes as the beginning of yet another huge overhaul of Feminem.com to suit the broader stance of this website. In addition, the list, a public database of the email addresses of various Femi-Fans and other superficial supporters of mainstream media, has been weeded out and no longer contains 30 invalid email addresses that have been trashed by the user due to an inordinate amount of spam. Nearly half of these accounts were from original Hate Mail submissions, and one, belonging to Shane Rodgers, the obsolete 2003 Faggot of the Month, has also finally been destroyed. The updated "Spam List" is only the first of several coming changes for Feminem.com. Other changes will be worked on throughout this year.

Thunderground has officially completed its original list of potential products to offer with the addition of the Stickers section. Three new products have been added to Thunderground's base of merchandise. Feminem.com bumper stickers are now available, as well as two vinyl stickers, one for Thunderground and the other for Feminem.com. These products have been planned since Thunderground first became operational, and are now seeing the light of day.
The embroidered patches have been bumped down to the "possible" projects in the Upcoming Items section. It's unknown if that project will ever be put forward. Currently, there are no new projects in the works, but eventually there should be to coincide with whatever aspiration the owner of Thunderground, Essix, decides to work on.

With the turn of the new year, state law has again required businesses to charge a larger amount of tax on goods and services. Once 5.875% not too long ago, it increased to 6.0625%, and now has increased to 6.75% effective January 1st, 2005. Of course, this is only applicable to residents of the state of New Mexico, as Thunderground is currently based in Albuquerque. This will change however, not too far from now, as the webmaster is planning to return to Phoenix. Business registrations, etc... are expected to switch to Arizona sometime in 2005, and another adjustment in the tax rate will again be in effect.
Also, Thunderground will be releasing 3 new items in the coming week(s). If you own a car or enjoy decals and stickers, you'll want to stay tuned for more updates. So far, January has been an active month for orders, so if you still haven't placed yours, you might want to wait until the new items have been posted (to save on shipping).
