I certainly have some good news to report concerning the construction of Thunderground. It may not seem like much, but the 6% completion of Feminem.com is a huge step in establishing the foundation of Thunderground. The bottom line is this: Even though I scrapped old progress on a left-aligned website, the new design is already beyond the progress of the original. Right now, although you are unable to view it, I have a fully-functional Thunderground website. It's basically an empty shell, but everything is designed, everything is scripted, everything is ready for content. It is the foundation I've been building to since the start of 2006. Now it's time to build this massive web mansion.

My attention has been directed towards the main website instead of the forum in the past several weeks. Happily, there is an excellent amount of progress. The purpose and disclaimers have been completed on Thunderground, and I'm now ready to tackle the News archives and Website History sections. The News archives will merge all news postings from Feminem.com, DJJake.com, and TGround.com since my first posting in January 2001. This will take a decent amount of time, but it won't be difficult, just mindlessly consuming. The Website History section is being expanded in the Thunderground rendition, and I plan to have both it and the News sections complete by the end of June. This would make 3 of 8 primary menus complete by the midpoint of 2006.

I also plan on axing the homepage of Feminem.com and replacing it with a temporary Recent News/Website History hybrid until the time Thunderground is ready to be revealed. And remember, I'm revealing it this year regardless of its current progress. I desire having a new splash page because of the number of visitors arriving at misconceptions simply based upon the obsolete content. Plus, I'm not willing to go back and change anything that's currently uploaded as The Prime Example to match what Thunderground is currently about. It will remain as is, another cornerstone in the history of this website. But, to alleviate the Crusty conceptualization of Feminem.com, it's best to make it clear that TPE is obsolete.
